A Different Kind of Light Mode
Most apps just flip the background from dark to white. We did something different.
Mailtrix's light mode draws inspiration from the feel of old newspapers and aged paper — warm cream tones, subtle grain texture, and ink-like typography.
Why It Looks Different
- Warm background — not stark white, but a gentle off-white with paper grain
- Grid overlay — a subtle grid that fades from the top, giving depth without distraction
- Ink-toned text — deep, saturated text colours that feel like ink on paper
- Consistent green accent — the Mailtrix brand primary colour works in both modes
How to Switch
Click the Theme toggle at the bottom of the sidebar. Your preference is saved and applied instantly — no page reload needed.
Dark Mode
The default experience is a deep dark theme — black backgrounds, muted greens, clean lines. Professional and easy on the eyes for long working sessions.
Both modes are first-class citizens. Pick whichever you prefer and stick with it — or switch whenever the mood strikes.
